| 1,206,672 | ARRL International DX Contest (SSB) | Decent score with only 23 hours operating (unfortunately, no Top Ten!) |
I did a semi-serious effort in the CQ 160m CW Contest. That same weekend was the UBA DX SSB Contest, a nice event sponsored by the Belgian national amateur radio society. I had a little time on Saturday morning, so I scanned around and found some stations calling CQ. I thought I'd give a few of the serious participants a QSO, so I tuned around and worked them. I was having fun, so I found a clear frequency and called CQ myself. That began a stretch of a little over two hours of running Europeans, including many Belgians! It was exciting, but alas, I had to go QRT to do other things. Thank you UBA for a fun event!
